In August this year, FAW Pentium sold 10039 new cars, up 28% from the previous month and 96% over the same period last year. In September, FAW Pentium sold 11599 new cars, an increase of 15.5% from the previous month and 75% over the same period last year. Following the growth trend of sales in August and September, FAW Pentium sold 12309 new cars in October, up 6% from the previous month and 177% from the same period last year.

In addition, FAW Pentium's first medium-sized SUV-T99 will be officially launched today, and the pre-price of the new car was previously announced at 15.99-189900 yuan. The new car continues the design style of the concept car, octagonal lattice grille, equipped with a new LOGO in the center, with a great degree of recognition. The car, which has a length, width and height of 4800, 1915, 1685mm and a wheelbase of 2870 mm, will be available in five colors: Phantom Black, Pearl White, Fuller Silver, Jazz Brown and King Blue. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine produced by FAW Group, which matches an 8-speed automatic transmission with a maximum power of 165 kilowatts and a peak torque of 340 Nm.

It is not unreasonable for FAW Pentium sales to grow month by month. At present, FAW Pentium is constantly optimizing its product structure. According to the official website of FAW Pentium, it already has small SUV T33 and X40, compact SUV T77 and the upcoming medium-sized SUV T99.

In addition, at FAW Pentium 2019 Brand Conference, it also launched three major platforms, including Tencent E, FMA and FME. Among them, Tencent E is a new service platform, FMA is for traditional fuel vehicle platform, and FME is for pure electric vehicle platform.

At the brand conference, FAW Pentium also divided its products into four product series: "B", "E", "S" and "T". Among them, "B" series represents leapfrog and fashion, "E" represents smart and new energy, "S" represents mainstream and high-end, and "T" represents technology and trend.

In terms of products, FAW Pentium will launch a variety of products in China. Among them, the positioning A-class pure electric SUV-C105 based on FME platform will be listed in Beijing Auto Show in 2020. The D365 and D357 based on the FMA platform will also be available in 2020.

Based on the three platforms and four product lines, in the current period of increasing sales of FAW Pentium, it is more conducive to improve brand positioning and improve product competitiveness. All kinds of actions are for the development of Pentium and strive for faster growth of sales.

According to the third-quarter results released by FAW cars on October 31st, FAW cars achieved revenue of 6.39 billion yuan in the third quarter of this year, an increase of 20.9 percent over the same period last year. The net profit of shareholders belonging to listed companies lost 276 million yuan, down 609.65% from the same period last year. In the first three quarters of this year, FAW cars achieved a cumulative revenue of 17.29 billion yuan, down 6.95% from the same period last year. The net profit loss of shareholders belonging to listed companies was 266 million yuan, down 297.33% from the same period last year.
