From the maintenance list, the project includes engine decarbonization, intake system cleaning, nozzle cleaning, ternary catalytic cleaning and so on.

However, after a while, Mr. Yang heard the roar of the maintenance workshop and found that the engine compartment of his vehicle had exploded. Then the staff of the 4S store suggested sealing the scene and contacting the technicians to investigate the specific cause of the accident. The next day, Mr. Yang received a notice from the 4S store and was told that the accident was caused by improper operation of the staff.

Afterwards, from the point of view of the engine compartment of the vehicle, some parts burst on the outside, but it is impossible to see whether there is damage inside the engine. Mr. Yang said that these coverings and pipes in the car engine cabin look like plastic parts, but they are heat-resistant and wear-resistant materials, and you can imagine how explosive it was to shatter them.

Mr. Yang offered to check the surveillance video of the maintenance workshop at that time, but the staff of the 4S store said he could not provide it. Mr. Yang said that at that time, he proposed to replace the engine, but the person in charge of the 4S store said he could not handle it, and then he offered two other solutions, one is to replace the new car, and the other is to buy back the car from the 4S store.

The 4S store chose the replacement of new cars, but the difference was unacceptable to Mr. Yang. Mr. Yang said that the car cost about 310000 yuan when it was bought and has been in use for a total of 50, 000 kilometers in two years, but according to the depreciation calculation of the 4S store, the car is only worth about 200000, and it will have to pay another 110000 if you want to replace the new car with the same model.

Mr. Yang believes that according to the conversion method of the 4S store, it is equivalent to trading a used car with the 4S store, but the responsibility of the 4S store in the maintenance accident is not mentioned, which is not reasonable at all.

The 4S store also puts forward another solution, which is to repair the damaged parts of the vehicle and make additional compensation. Staff said that the core components of the engine may not have been damaged in the previous maintenance explosion without being opened for overhaul. at present, only part of the outer cover of the engine is damaged and only needs to be replaced. Whether the core components of the engine are damaged, the engine needs to be overhauled.

Mr. Yang believes that before, the solution of the 4S store was to allow professional and technical personnel to disassemble and install the engine and check the cause of the explosion and the state of damage, but now the professional and technical personnel did not see it, and the 4S store only talked about vehicle maintenance. He also pointed out that if you want to inspect the engine, you need the relevant qualified quality inspection department and the factory after-sales personnel to inspect and repair the engine on site.

At present, the incident is still under negotiation between the two sides, and Mr. Yang also reflected the problem to the relevant departments and manufacturers after sale, waiting for opinions to be dealt with.
