AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)11/03 Report--

SAIC Chase as a commercial vehicle family rich company, after seven years of development, the market has covered wide-body light passenger, medium and large MPV, pickup, RV, medium and large SUV and other market segments.

As a subsidiary of SAIC, the growth trend of SAIC Chase appears to be somewhat "weird". This year, the automobile market environment is extremely grim, in this case, SAIC Chase still achieved growth.

According to data, SAIC Chase sold 92146 vehicles from January to October this year, surpassing the record of 84000 for the whole of last year. In October, SAIC Chase sold 11424 vehicles, up 78.58 per cent from a year earlier.

In terms of specific models, the monthly sales of the G10 PLUS10, the main force of the MPV camp, reached 3257 units, and the G50 sold 2702 units in October; in the wide-body light passenger sector, the V80 and V90 models sold a total of 24042 units this year; and the D60 in the SUV field has also achieved sales results of 3536 units since its launch in July.

SAIC Chase is the independent brand of SAIC Group. In July this year, SAIC Chase changed its name to SAIC MAXUS, translated into English as "Maxus", in order to identify and keep abreast of the times.

Due to the name of Maxx and Toyota's upscale brand Lexus, it has also caused controversy, with netizens saying that "it used to be quite good, but now how to look at it and how to copy it?"

But there is no doubt that SAIC Chase's sales are growing. In August, SAIC Chase sold 103055 vehicles, up 45.8% from a year earlier; in September, SAIC sold 11303 vehicles, up 84.5% from a year earlier; coupled with October sales, it has sold tens of thousands of vehicles for many months. However, SAIC chase set an annual sales target of 140000 vehicles at the beginning of the year, and now it has completed only 65.79%, so it is still difficult to achieve the target.

Data show that MAXUS is a commercial vehicle brand launched by the British Commercial vehicle Company. SAIC formally completed the acquisition of MAXUS brand intellectual property and technology platform in October 2009, introducing MAXUS into China and naming it "Maxus Chase".

SAIC Chase's main products include MPV, SUV, RV, wide-body light passenger, pickup and other commercial vehicles, while also producing new energy vehicles. The company has three production bases in Wuxi, Nanjing and Liyang, China. Wuxi base mainly produces "SAIC Datong MAXUS" brand products with a capacity of 200000 units / year; Nanjing base mainly produces "SAIC Yuejin" light and medium-sized trucks with a capacity of 100000 vehicles / year; Liyang base is the world's largest professional RV factory with a production capacity of more than 25000 vehicles; at the same time, it has set up manufacturing bases in Malaysia and Thailand.
