Recently, Mr. Ye of Jiaxing reported that one of his Dongfeng Jingyi X5 recently drove the car to a 4S store for maintenance because of an oil leak in the oil pipe. Unexpectedly, the engine of the car fell out just a few days after maintenance.

Mr. Ye said the car was bought in March 2015 at a popular 4S store in Jiangsu Province, which cost about 100000. The car has been driving for several years, but it has been in good condition and there has been no traffic accident. Three days before the accident, I just went to the 4S store for maintenance because of the oil leak in the oil pipe of the car.

Who knows that after the third day of maintenance, the engine fell down, and the car air conditioner refrigerant and electronic fans were also broken, and the whole maintenance cost was more than 2000 yuan.

Mr. Ye asked for help and said that he had a Dongfeng X5, which was sent to the 4S store for maintenance not long ago because of an oil leak in the oil pipe. Unexpectedly, a few days after the maintenance, the engine fell off.

On October 13, Mr. Ye went to work in his Dongfeng Fengfeng Jingyi X5. When the car was driving, there was a loud noise. Mr. Ye got out of the car and drove his car to a nearby repair shop to check it out. This gave Mr. Yang a jump.

After the car was lifted, the repairman found that the screw of the engine bracket fell off and the engine fell out. The repairman said that it was the first time that the engine had fallen out of the car in so many years.

Mr. Ye said that because the bracket was not fixed with screws, the bracket that fixed the engine had fallen off all over again. Fortunately, I didn't drive too far at that time, otherwise the consequences would be unimaginable. If we had been driving on the highway at that time, we might have lost the person directly.

Mr. Ye thinks that the engine has 5 years or 100000 miles of insurance, and it is still under warranty, so the 4S store should be responsible.

4S store said that the scope of general maintenance does not include the inspection of engine support screws, as to whether the fracture is caused by quality problems or severe bumps and other causes, it is impossible to determine and need further testing.

As for the requirement that the engine maintenance cost should be borne by the 4S store, the 4S store said that the engine support screw does not belong to the vehicle engine, but belongs to the body part, and the warranty period of the car body is three years, and now Mr. Ye's car is out of insurance. so he has to pay for the maintenance.

In response to this situation, experts said that the engine bracket screws do belong to the body part.

As for the damage to Mr. Ye's car, the Jiaxing Yuantong 4S store said that they had applied with the manufacturer to waive the maintenance time fee for Mr. Ye, and now they can apply with the manufacturer for exemption from the maintenance material fee, but the specific negotiation result will not be until next week.
