Mercedes-Benz announced the official launch of the new E-Class, with a price range of 442800 yuan to 623800 yuan. A total of eight models have been launched, including five domestic long-axle models and three imported standard axle models. This is a minor modification, with little change in appearance and power. The upgrade is mainly aimed at the configuration.

The new E-Class has many similar details with the Mercedes-Benz S-Class in appearance, and the new headlamps are very similar to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. The lamp group uses full LED light source. The enlarged chrome-plated intake grille highlights the atmospheric stability.

On the power side, the new E 260Universe E 260 L is equipped with a 1.5T four-cylinder turbocharged engine and a 48V light mixing system. The E 300bot E 300 L is equipped with the new M246 series 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 258hp, a peak torque of 370Nm, a matching 9AT gearbox and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 6.6s.

In addition, the domestic E-class long shaft also provides 350L 4MATIC, which is equipped with 2.0T engine + 48V light mixing system, in which the engine parameters are 299hp and 400Nm, which also match the 9AT gearbox with 0-100km/h acceleration time of 6.1 seconds.

As it is a small modified model, the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class on the market has no change in the overall design of appearance and interior decoration, mainly in the configuration adjustment. For example, the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class standard equipped with segmented electric sunroof, while adding tire pressure display, remote start function (standard / optional), car networking and OTA upgrade and so on.

From January to September this year, the domestic Mercedes-Benz E-Class sold 117703 units in China, and its sales data have also surpassed its competitors Audi A6L, BMW 5-Series, Volvo S90 and other models, and is expected to launch in overseas markets by the end of this year.
