Volvo Group's global sales rose 13.9 percent year-on-year to 60,959 vehicles in October, according to the data. Cumulative sales in the first 10 months of this year were 568,663 vehicles, up 8.1% year-on-year. At this rate, volvo's annual sales will hit another record high this year.

As the largest single market, China saw the largest increase, with sales of 14039 vehicles in October, up 26.7% year-on-year; followed by the US market with sales of 8807 vehicles, up 20.2% year-on-year; European market sales of 29510 vehicles, up 9.7% year-on-year; sales in other markets of 8603 vehicles, up 4.8% year-on-year; and cumulative sales in China in the first 10 months rose 15.2% year-on-year, with 123,551 new vehicles sold.

Volvo's bestsellers in China still stem from the XC 60 and S 90 models. Even though XC60 has appeared at the top of the complaint list many times, it does not seem to affect its sales. In October, the number of complaints about this model decreased significantly, but it is speculated that the compression of eardrum, earache and explosion of XC60 during driving still cannot be solved.
