The cumulative sales volume from January to October reached 16.626 million vehicles, down 8.3% year-on-year.
In the face of such an environment, in October, many independent car companies succeeded in "superior" or even overtaking joint venture brands, but in the top ten rankings of the domestic car market, no independent brand models were listed. Divided by proportion, most of October is occupied by Japanese brands and German brands, Japanese accounts for 50%, German accounts for 40%, American accounts for 10%: it has to be said that in the domestic market, Japanese and German joint venture brands have always been the most competitive brands in China, but also the two most controversial brands.
From the specific model point of view, Xuanyi successfully won the title of the car list in August by virtue of the popularity of the new car launch, but in the following two months, it was overtaken by the new Lavida again. Even though Xuanyi, which has the old and new models "sold in the same hall," still has a relatively large gap with Lavida, with a gap of more than 8000 vehicles. Compared with the new Sylphy, the new Lavide after the replacement has become larger in space, more mature in appearance, and even has the feeling of "superior".
As a echelon of 30,000 vehicles, Volkswagen brands that have been deeply involved in the domestic market for many years still occupy many seats. Since the replacement, Bora has also become younger in appearance, and the more favorable price on the terminal price has kept it in the top five lists. Sagitar is not cheap in price, but for the masses it has always been a model of volume, and sales of Sagitar have declined in recent years. Toyota's Corolla has always been the world's best-selling models, since the brand-new replacement Corolla has been in the climbing period, I believe the future will return to the top three. As the only American model in the top ten, Buick Yinglang can succeed mainly because of its significant profit on the terminal price.
As a echelon of 20,000 vehicles, Honda Civic has been favored by consumers for its reputation of "civilian super-running", and its sales volume has remained above 20,000 units for many consecutive times; the brand-new generation of Rayling built based on TNGA architecture has been significantly upgraded in all aspects of technology, safety configuration and power. Passat and Accord are also the only medium-sized cars that can appear in the top 10 list. Compared with A-class models, they can have good sales at a higher price, which is also due to the cost-effectiveness of the two cars. However, this year's Passat seems to be controversial because of safety issues, and Accord sales have declined due to the "stall door" incident.
On the whole, there is basically no self-owned brand model in the car ranking. Perhaps the joint venture A-class model is the most cost-effective model in the domestic market, especially the Volkswagen brand. Only one brand occupies many seats in the domestic car market list for a long time. However, according to the sales volume in the previous October, there is an independent brand appearing in the top 10 list, namely Geely's Dihao ranked 10th. It can only be said that in the most representative markets, the performance of independent brands is still not as good as some quality joint venture brands.
