The association officially released car sales data for October 2019, in which new energy narrow passenger car sales in October were 63000, down 46.0% from a year earlier, up 2.0% from January to October, up 16.6% from a year earlier. The cumulative growth rate accelerated dilution.

According to the new energy vehicle sales data released by the Federation of passengers, the top three models of new energy vehicle sales in October were BAIC EU series, Baojun New Energy and Ian.

According to the list, BAIC EU series sold 8601 vehicles in October, up 111.1% from the same period last year; Baojun New Energy sold 5081 vehicles in October, up 62.5% from the same period last year; and GAC NE Ean sold 4217 vehicles in September, which also performed well.

In addition, BYD yuan EV, BYD Tang DM and BYD e2 also performed well, with sales up from last month.

By comparison, the BMW 5-Series PHEV and Chery eQ performed poorly. Sales of the BMW PHEV fell 82.0 per cent year-on-year in September to 3074 in October, down 44.5 per cent from a year earlier. Chery eQ sold 2584 vehicles in September, down 51.3 per cent from a year earlier, and the decline intensified in October, falling 56.5 per cent to 2414.

It is worth noting that the eighth place last month was Lulai ES6, with sales of 2190 vehicles. According to sales figures released by Xilai, the ES6 delivered 2220 vehicles in October, but there was no Lai ES6 in the October list, replaced by Weimar EX5, which sold 2056 vehicles, up 1169.1% from a year earlier.

From January to October, BAIC EU series was the best seller of new energy vehicles, followed by BYD and Baojun brands. Among them, the top five models are BAIC EU series, BYD yuan EV, BYD E5, Baojun New Energy and BYD Tang DM. Among them, the fastest growing rates are BAIC EU series and BYD yuan EV, which increased by 393.9% and 182.7% respectively over the same period last year, with a very large increase.

Chery eQ, Dihao EV, Roewe Ei5, Euler R1 and Euler EV respectively ranked 6th to 10th on the list. Among them, Changan Yitong EV is the fastest growing model, with an increase of 601.1% over the same period last year. It is worth noting that in the top 10 rankings, only Chery eQ models declined compared with the same period last year, while other models achieved growth (except Euler R1).

According to the ranking of new energy vehicles released by the Federation of passengers, although many models have increased compared with the same period last year, sales have declined compared with September. BAIC's EU series, for example, sold 8710 vehicles in September, but fell to 8610 in October. For example, sales of the BMW 5-Series PHEV fell from 3486 in September to 3074 in October.

It can be seen that in the current cold environment of the domestic car market, even in the two prosperous months of Jinjiu Silver Ten, the decline in sales of new energy vehicles is inevitable. In addition, although there are many brands with good performance and steady increase in sales, we can not relax our vigilance and need to continue to work hard.
