According to domestic media reports, BMW Group released sales figures for October: global sales continued to grow in October, totaling 204300 vehicles. In the Chinese market, BMW sold 61400 vehicles in China in October, up 8.8 per cent from a year earlier.

In the first three quarters of this year, BMW Group's delivery volume from January to October increased 1.7% globally compared with the same period last year, selling a total of 2.0705 million vehicles, including subsidiary brands such as BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce.

BMW sold 587417 vehicles in China from January to October in the first three quarters of this year, up 13.8 per cent from a year earlier. In the overall decline in the car market situation, double-digit year-on-year growth is particularly prominent. Audi, by contrast, sold 60154 vehicles in October, up 6.0 per cent from a year earlier. Mercedes-Benz sold 57142 vehicles in China in October, up 13.8 per cent from a year earlier.

Specifically, the BMW 5-Series and X3 have become the main drivers of BMW's growth. Among them, the terminal sales of the BMW 5-Series were 15000 in October, up 19% from January to October, up 6.3% from January to October. BMW X3 sales exceeded 10000 in October, up 75% from a year earlier, while the new BMW 3-Series declined, with sales of 8594 vehicles in October, down 19.4% from a year earlier. In addition, BMW new energy models maintain steady growth in China.

With the launch of all-electric MINI Electric and BMW X3 plug-in hybrid models, BMW Group will have 12 new energy models by the end of this year.
