AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)11/12 Report--
On November 12, Subaru Automobile (China) Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the Administration of defective Automobile products recall and the implementation methods of defective Automobile products recall regulations. A total of 17479 imported forest people and XV series cars will be recalled from December 2, 2019.
Recall models:
(I) some of the 2019 forest man series cars produced during the period from September 3, 2018 to June 19, 2019 were imported, totaling 10487.
(2) some of the 2018-2019 XV series cars produced during the period from August 9, 2017 to August 1, 2019 were imported, totaling 6992.
Reasons for recall:
Some vehicles within the scope of this recall will overpower the ignition coil due to the unreasonable control of the control program of the engine control unit when the engine stops. The rise of the internal temperature of the ignition coil, the short circuit of the coil circuit and the fuse may cause the engine to flameout and no longer start while the vehicle is running, which may lead to rear-end collision and safety risks.
Solution:
Subaru Automotive (China) Co., Ltd. will upgrade the control procedures of the engine control unit and check the ignition coil for vehicles within the recall range, and replace the new ignition coil if damage is found, in order to eliminate safety risks.
