The Cadillac CT5, which has been reluctant to go public, is finally listed. The domestic CT5, which was unveiled as early as September this year, did not appear on the market at the preset press conference, but just announced another model, the CT4, and now the CT5 is quietly on the market, with a price of 27.97-339700 yuan, with a total of six configurations, offering six body colors and five interior colors, close to the previous pre-sale price.

The new Cadillac CT5 continues the brand's dual design strategy, launching fashion and sports models. The front face is still shield-shaped, with daytime traffic lights vertically embedded in the air intake of the bumper; the sports version uses more black elements, while the fashion version has a more American metal chrome plating design, and the front face details are adjusted.

The side is designed with slippery back, the fashionable version is decorated with silver chrome, and the sports version is smoked black; the wheel shape is also different, the sports version is more concise and the stylish version of the multi-spoke design is more intensive, the body size is 4924mm*1883mm*1453mm, width and height are 4924mm*1883mm*1453mm, wheelbase 2974mm.

The design of ducktail is added to the tail, the inverted "L" taillight style is used on both sides, and the interior is integrated with LED light source; the rectangular tail row with two sides is decorated with chrome plating.

The interior as a whole tends to be business, but there are 5 kinds of interior colors, using 10-inch suspended central touch screen, three-frame steering wheel, and the rear seats can be folded at the ratio of 6 to 4, which is relatively flexible.

The new car is equipped with a 2.0T variable cylinder turbocharged engine matched with a 10-speed manual transmission with a rated power of 177 kilowatts and a peak torque of 350 Nm.

Many consumers respond well to the appearance of the new Cadillac CT5, and the starting price of 270000 does not change much compared to the pre-sale price, and it is also in the range of acceptance; but the starting price of Cadillac's CT6, which has always had a "price" advantage, has now fallen below 300000, compared with CT5, and it is somewhat high. I do not know how the price trend of CT5 will be in the later stage. In addition, it remains to be seen how the CT4 Cadillac will be priced.

Cadillac, which sold more than Cadillac in Lexus in October, sold only 14000 Cadillac in October and sold 170848 as of October, down 4.1 per cent from the same period last year.
