AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)11/26 Report--

Truss Cybertruck electric pickup truck has become a big online topic recently, with a total of 200000 orders so far, even though there are frequent complaints about its strange appearance, many fans are willing to pay for it. Cybertruck will compete for traditional American pick-up trucks such as Ford Fmur150, and Tesla says pickup models have barely changed their design style in the past few decades, and Cybertruck hopes to break that situation.

In response, Tesla officially released a video of a tug-of-war between Cybertruck and Ford Fmur150. Musk said, "Cybertruck will pull Fmur150 uphill."

As can be seen from the video, the Ford pickup Fmur150 on the left is in the downhill position, and on the right is Tesla Cybertruck driving in the uphill direction, and finally the Cybertruck completely crushes the Ford Fmurl 150.

Of course, this activity was done by official Tesla, and it is inevitable that there will be some unfairness. For example, some netizens mentioned, "the self-weight is different, the tires are different, and this is a showdown of friction." Some netizens said they seemed to see the competition between Prado and Harvard H6. In addition, the Ford Fmure 150 used for racing is a rear-drive version, while the Cybertruck is an all-wheel drive.

Sundeep Madra, vice president of Ford X, which is responsible for the development of new business models, challenged Mr Musk on Monday to send a Cybertruck to Ford and he would have a fair race. He also posted a link to a post on the car enthusiast website motor1.com that questioned whether Tesla's test was "fair competition."

According to Musk's announcement on the social platform on Nov. 25, global orders for Cybertruck electric pickups have reached 200000.

The Cybertruck has three versions, priced at $39900, with a range of 250mph, a traction capacity of 7500 lbs, and a 100km acceleration time of less than 6.5s. The dual-motor all-wheel drive version, priced at $49900, has a range of 300mph, a traction capacity of 10000 lbs and a 100km acceleration time of less than 4.5s. The maximum $69900 three-motor all-wheel drive version has a range of 500 miles (about 800km), a traction capacity of 14000 pounds and a 100km acceleration time of less than 2.9seconds. At the same time, users can also choose the fully autopilot function of FSD, which costs 56000 yuan.

Musk was hopeful about the future of the electric pickup and tweeted that the Cybertruck is a better pickup than the Fmur150 and faster than the Porsche 911.

Cybertruck's styling design is very futuristic and rare in the field of automotive design, similar to the shape of an armored car, but it is not a concept car, but a real mass-produced model. Tesla is expected to start delivery by the end of 2021.
