Honda's first pure electric car interior map announced that the central console of the Urban EV concept car will be designed with a full display, which is expected to replace the traditional rearview mirrors on both sides with electronic rearview mirrors. It is said that only 5000 cars are planned to be sold annually in Europe. Honda has promised that formal bookings for the car will begin at the beginning of this year, with the first products expected to be delivered by the end of the year.

As can be seen from the official interior drawings, the Honda Urban EV has a simple design, but the full-screen application of the center console is very eye-catching, and Honda is expected to become the first brand to produce full-screen central console.

The functions of the five central control screens are different, and the left and right are expected to be the display areas of the electronic rearview mirrors, thus eliminating the traditional mirror mirrors on both sides of the car. The Zhang instrument chart shows the charging status of the vehicle, while the multi-function area of the steering wheel has buttons such as constant speed cruising, voice control, steering wheel electric heating, lane departure warning, etc., while the content of the central control screen area is much richer, including the remaining charging time, starting the air conditioner to preheat the battery and other options, as well as Bluetooth, energy status, driving assistance system settings and so on on both sides.

It is understood that the Honda Urban EV prototype will greatly restore the design of the concept car. The small and lovely body shape, square front face and retro round lights make the car look very individual. It is not clear whether the prototype will retain the display function of the enclosed grille. The prototype car is also expected to adopt the conventional layout of five doors.

According to the plan, Urban EV will officially start booking this year and go on sale in parts of Europe and the United States at the end of the year. This will be Honda's first all-electric product to be mass-produced in Europe. As for the Chinese market, it will not be introduced for the time being, but based on the joint venture company and Honda Technology Research China to develop and build a Chinese special version of the exclusive electric car.
