Recall models:

Since January 17, 2020, Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. has recalled a total of 5332 imported GLE SUV cars produced from October 2, 2018 to September 23, 2019.

The reasons for the recall and the solutions:

Due to the large tolerance range of parts in some vehicles within the scope of this recall, the fixing of the glass decoration strip for the rear door and window may not be secure. In the process of vehicle driving, the decorative strip may be loose, causing harm to other road users around the vehicle, and there are hidden dangers to safety. Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. will check the fixed status of the rear window trim strips for vehicles within the recall area and carry out repairs if necessary to eliminate safety risks.

Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. and Beijing Mercedes-Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. will notify users of the recall by registered letter.
