Porsche (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. recently filed a recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the regulations on the Administration of defective Automobile products recall and the measures for the implementation of defective Automobile products recall regulations. A total of 83925 vehicles have been recalled since November 29th.

Recall models:

(I) some of the 2017-2020 Panamera (Panamera) series cars produced during the period from September 8, 2016 to July 4, 2019 were imported, totaling 29218;

(2) some of the 2018-2020 Cayenne (Cayenne) series cars produced from November 22, 2017 to August 2, 2019 were imported, totaling 54707.

Reasons for recall:

Due to the error of the combined instrument software, when the combined instrument displays the map mode or night vision mode, the vehicles within the scope of this recall cannot correctly and continuously display the yellow warning message when the brake lining is worn to the limit, it will increase the risk of vehicle collision and there are hidden dangers.

Solution:

Porsche (China) Automotive sales Co., Ltd. will upgrade the instrument combination software for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge to eliminate safety risks.
