On December 4, Honda China announced sales data for November, achieving terminal sales of 140,361 vehicles in November, up 2.6% year-on-year; terminal sales from January to November were 1,411,602 vehicles, up 13.8% year-on-year.

Among them, the terminal sales volume of GAC Honda in November was 69,072 vehicles, with a year-on-year growth of 2.0%; the terminal sales volume in the first November was 698,212 vehicles, with a year-on-year growth of 7.3%. Dongfeng Honda's terminal sales volume in November was 71,244 units, up 3.3% year-on-year; the terminal sales volume in the previous November was 713,390 units, with a year-on-year ratio of 21.0%.

This continued growth in sales was due to the popularity of its models and the continuous launch of new models. Among them, Accord, Lingpai, Binzhi, Civic, CR-V and XR-V have monthly sales of more than 10,000 vehicles, while Dongfeng Honda's Civic is slightly excellent, with sales of more than 20,000 vehicles for six consecutive months. This is more because Civic's reputation of "civilian super-running" makes consumers make choices.

On the hybrid model, the total terminal sales of Accord, Odyssey, CR-V, INSPIRE and Alishen equipped with SPORT HYBRID (Sharp·Hybrid) efficient dual-motor hybrid system reached 15,156 vehicles, and the comprehensive hybrid also helped Honda to further increase sales in China.

It is worth mentioning that Honda Fit, which was also sold well to more than ten thousand units per month, has been in a downturn for several consecutive months, maintaining an average of about 5000 units. In addition to the reasons for the decline in the small car market, there is also the fact that 2020 models of Fit have been listed, but it is still the national five emissions, which makes many consumers discouraged, but the good news is that the new Fit will be made and sold next year, when the sales volume of Fit may pick up.

Compared with Guangzhou Automobile Honda and Dongfeng Honda, Dongfeng Honda's performance is obviously better than Guangzhou Automobile Honda, so Dongfeng Honda not only has the most popular "super run" Civic and compact SUV CR-V. Therefore, in order to cope with this situation, GAC Honda launched a brand-new compact SUV model Haoying. Although this model is only a replacement model of CR-V, it is only a change in design, but with the starting price of Haoying 169,800 yuan, it is not difficult to see that GAC Honda very much needs this model to change its market share.

At the same time, there was news that Honda hatchback version of Civic will also be handed over to GAC to produce, from the current hot sale degree of Civic, plus the hatchback version of Civic has not been released has been highly praised, and GAC also has a medium-sized car best-selling model Accord, I believe that in the future in the two new models of the support, GAC Honda sales are expected to surpass Dongfeng Honda.

On the whole, there is only less than a month left in 2019, and this year, in addition to luxury brands living well, it belongs to Japanese brands. In the face of Japanese brands mixed in the domestic wind and water, there are industry insiders have sighed: "In the past when the environment is good, I know that Japanese cars sell well, but today is not as good as in the past, I did not expect Japanese cars to still sell very well." If Honda can pay more attention to previous recalls, it may be able to receive more consumer choices.
