In extreme cases, the 12V battery may gradually run out of power because it can not continue to charge, and the vehicle will lose power and there is a safety risk.
In other words, the range Rover P400E battery will often experience insulation failure, resulting in the battery can not continue to supply power, in extreme cases will deplete the 12V battery.
