The measured data show that the overall performance of Taycan in adult protection is better, but the protection of passengers' chest in complete frontal collision and the protection of passengers' neck in seat whipping test are marginal evaluation.

In addition, Taycan also maintained a good performance in child protection, except that neck protection was rated as marginal evaluation and slightly deducted from the 6-year-old model in the frontal impact test. The specific manifestations are as follows: 85% of adult protection, 83% of child protection, 70% of pedestrian protection and 73% of safety assistance.

For comparison, the performance of Tesla Model 3 in the same test environment is 96% for adult protection, 86% for child protection, 74% for pedestrian protection and 94% for safety assistance. It is not surprising that the Porsche Taycan can get a 5-star rating as a new model, and the collision safety performance of the new car is worth affirming, but its specific performance is closer to that of the current benchmark model Model in this field.
