Volvo will launch four new cars in the Chinese market this year, of which the domestic XC40 will be on the market, and recently the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the domestic XC40 declaration chart.

The new XC40 is based on the CMA platform, with regular and sports versions, and also has many Volvo family design elements, such as the Thor Hammer LED daytime walk, the erected central control LCD screen and so on.

The declaration information shows that the size of the domestic XC40 is the same as that of the imported version, the length, width and height are also 4425 "1863" 1652 mm, and the wheelbase is 2702mm.

The new car can be said to be "authentic" introduced, and the difference between the rear of the car body and the imported version is that there are five Chinese characters "Volvo Asia Pacific" under the Logo of "XC40".

In terms of power, the domestic Volvo XC40 will be equipped with 1.5T and 2.0T engines, of which the 1.5T engine will have a maximum power of 133kW, with a comprehensive fuel consumption of 6.6L per 100km; and a 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 205kW and a comprehensive fuel consumption of 7.6L per 100km.

Volvo is relatively robust in China, where it sold 130593 new cars in 2018, up 14.1% from a year earlier and accounting for only 20% of its global sales. Volvo XC40 home-made, will also make the domestic compact luxury SUV competition more fierce.
