AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)12/09 Report--
According to the latest national passenger car sales data released by the Federation of passengers, luxury brands continue to grow against the trend in November when the market is still in the doldrums. According to statistics, sales in the domestic narrow passenger car market reached 1.937 million in November, down 4.1% from the same period last year, up 5.1% from January to November, down 7.9% from the same period last year.
In terms of the high-end car market, the Audi A6 deserves to be the "climber" of sales in recent months, and now it has returned to the first place of high-end cars in November, surpassing the long-standing BMW 5-Series. In terms of sales this month, the Audi A6 sold 16541 vehicles, up 13.6% from a year earlier, leaving Mercedes-Benz and BMW far behind. Today, the rising sales volume is precisely due to the constantly preferential terminal price, which now basically amounts to about 70,000 yuan.
This was closely followed by the BMW 5-Series, which also benefited from the relatively favorable terminal prices of BMW so far this year, which ranked first for several months in a row until it was overtaken by the Audi A6 in November. According to this month's sales figures, the BMW 5-Series sold a total of 15444 vehicles in November, up 14.5% from a year earlier.
Although the BMW 3-Series ranks fifth, it is still climbing, with sales of 10626 vehicles in November, down 8.2% from a year earlier, but significantly narrowed from a 17.5% year-on-year decline last month. In addition, the impact on the BMW 3-Series did not seem to have expanded during the engine recall in early November.
Among the BBA, sales of the once-leading Mercedes-Benz E-Class fell in November, the first decline in recent months, with 11072 vehicles sold in November, up from 14.4% last month to a 17.1% year-on-year decline this month. It is speculated that the impact is related to the shock absorber recall last month.
The performance of Mercedes-Benz C-Class is relatively stable, selling a total of 13214 vehicles in November, an increase of 20.5% over the same period last year, making it the first luxury car with a cumulative sales of 150000 in the previous November of this year.
Volvo S90 and Cadillac CT6, second-tier luxury brands, are still behind the BBA, with the price-for-volume strategy still working and achieving continuous growth, but slower than last month.
In the high-end SUV market, the basic ranking is the same as in October, with Audi Q5 still leading in the first place, followed by Mercedes-Benz GLCs and BMW X3 in second and third places. It is worth mentioning that the year-on-year growth rate of various models further expanded in November, which also shows that the high-end SUV market is becoming more and more popular with consumers. Among the declines in growth were Volkswagen Tuen, Volvo XC60 and Infiniti's QX50, while Prado's decline expanded year-on-year because it did not have a national six model. Among them, the new power's Lulai ES6 sold 1407 vehicles in November.
Generally speaking, in November this year, the luxury market is still the most powerful market at present. with the change of the times, the main consumption has become the post-80s and 90s, and the savings consumption of consumers buying cars has gradually turned to loan consumption. for some entry-level luxury brands, it is being chosen by more and more consumers, among which models tempted by terminal price cuts such as Audi are more favored by consumers.
