November ranking of new energy models: BYD Yuan EV "alone show", Pentium B30 EV surged against the trend

According to the sales statistics of the Federation of passengers, sales in the domestic narrow passenger car market reached 1.937 million in November, down 4.1% from a year earlier, up 5.1% from January to November, down 7.9% from a year earlier.

In terms of new energy vehicles, sales of new energy narrow passenger vehicles in November were 72000, down 45.4% from the same period last year, up 13.8% from January to November, up 6.9% from a year earlier, and the cumulative growth rate was significantly diluted.

According to the new energy vehicle sales data released by the Federation of passengers, the top three new energy vehicle sales in November were BAIC EU series, Baojun New Energy and Ian, which have been in the top three for many months.

According to the list, BAIC EU series sold 7500 vehicles in November, up 155.0% from the same period last year; Baojun New Energy sold 6929 vehicles in November, up 34.4% from the same period last year; and GAC NE Ean sold 5538 vehicles in November, which also performed well.

By comparison, BYD's performance was disappointing in November, with BYD occupying three seats in the top 10 in October, leaving only BYD's EV in November, and November sales continued its October decline, down 59.2% from a year earlier to 2399 vehicles.

Data show that BYD sold 11200 new energy vehicles in November, down 62.7% from the same period last year. From January to November, BYD sold 216400 new energy vehicles, an increase of 7.58% over the same period last year.

In addition, some new models were launched in November, including Geometry A, Pentium B30 EV, Fengshen E70, Dihao EV and Euler R1. The brightest of these is the Pentium B30 EV, which sold 2380 vehicles in November, up 33900.0% from a year earlier. Under the new brand marketing of FAW Pentium, FAW Pentium sales have achieved rapid growth.

In November, FAW Pentium sold 14000 new cars, up 120% from a year earlier. In the first 11 months, FAW Pentium sold 104000 new cars, an increase of 43 per cent over the same period last year.

Geometry A, which is also a relatively unfamiliar face, has rarely been seen in the top 10, selling 2456 vehicles in November. The BMW 5-Series PHEV and Chery eQ performed poorly. BMW sold 3486 PHEV vehicles in September, down 82.0 per cent from a year earlier.

From January to November, BAIC EU series was the best seller of new energy vehicles, followed by BYD and Baojun brands. Among them, the top five models are BAIC EU series, BYD yuan EV, Baojun New Energy, Chery eQ and BYD Tang DM. Among them, the fastest growing rates are BAIC EU series and BYD yuan EV, which increased by 358.3% and 128.6% respectively over the same period last year, with a very large increase.

BYD E5, Dihao EV, Euler R1, Roewe Ei5 and GAC NE Ean respectively ranked 6th to 10th on the list. It is worth noting that among the above models, only BYD E5 models declined compared with the same period last year, while other models achieved growth (except Euler R1 and Ian).

According to the ranking of new energy vehicles published by the Federation of passengers, most models still show a growth trend. in addition to the BAIC EU series, Baojun New Energy, GAC NE Ean, BMW 5-Series PHEV and other models have increased compared with October.

However, the current development of new energy vehicles in China is not optimistic. Wholesale sales of new energy passenger vehicles in November were 79000, down 41.7% from the same period last year. This is the fifth consecutive decline since July this year.

In this regard, the Federation pointed out that the downturn in sales of new energy passenger cars is mainly due to the sharp rise in sales costs caused by the decline of subsidies at the end of June, superimposed by the shortage of six countries. At present, the new energy market is still in a period of continuous adjustment after the recession, superimposed by the low price impact of second-hand new energy vehicles, and the continuous pull-up of pure electric A00 class in the second half of last year did not appear this year. In the general pattern of continuous reshuffle of travel enterprises, the model structure is expected to be further promoted to A-class and B-class models.

However, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently put forward a plan that new energy vehicles in China will account for about 25% of new car sales by 2025. At a time when the car market is in the doldrums and sales of new energy vehicles continue to shrink, the move will bring confidence to the new energy vehicle market.
