AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)03/19 Report--

According to foreign media reports, Japanese fast consumer goods company MUJI (MUJI) and Finnish sensible 4 recently released the first all-weather driverless bus GACHA.

It is understood that the bus can adapt to various weather conditions, and its autopilot system uses the core technology of Sensible 4, including positioning, navigation and obstacle detection. MUJI is responsible for designing the overall appearance and user experience of the car. There are 10 seats and 6 stations in the car. The maximum speed in the case of autopilot is 40 kilometers per hour, it can travel more than 100 kilometers under the condition of fast charging, and it can be recharged wirelessly.

The model will start operating in the Finnish city of Espoo in April 2019 to serve the public, followed by operations in Haimenlinna, Wanta and Helsinki at the end of this year. Sensible 4 and MUJI are currently interested in building a fleet and making plans for their launch in 2020. The plan focuses on the development of self-driving bus fleets for mainstream markets and the provision of genuine L4 self-driving transport services to the public in 2021.

Sensible 4 is currently looking for suitable industrial partners and investors to accelerate the company's development.
