The Pentium T77 collision model is a sub-low automatic gear model with a price of 110800 yuan. In the items of crashworthiness and maintenance economy, the overall rating is P (poor). The main reason is that airbag detonation occurs in the frontal collision of 15km/h low-speed structure, resulting in a maintenance economy score of 0.

In terms of occupant safety, the overall rating is M (general). Among them, the 25% offset crash rating of 64km/h is P (poor), the side collision rating of 50km/h is M (general), and the roof strength and seat / headrest test rating are G (excellent).

The front 25% offset collision obtains P (poor), and the main missing points are the large amount of invasion in the upper part of the passenger cabin, the obvious invasion of the front end of the A column to the cockpit, and the minimal role of front airbag, and is not equipped with front / rear side air curtains, resulting in excessive lateral displacement of the dummy's head.

In the side collision project, the structural safety of the vehicle is still relatively complete, but there are many missing points in the internal protection of drivers and occupants.

In addition, Pentium T77 has an overall rating of G (excellent) for pedestrian protection and G (excellent) for vehicle auxiliary safety.

FAW Pentium T77 was officially launched in November 2018, with a price of 8.98-136800 yuan, with a 1.2T three-cylinder engine and a five-speed manual or seven-speed double clutch gearbox.

Sales figures show that FAW Pentium sold 14067 vehicles in November, up 120 per cent from a year earlier. The cumulative sales from January to November were about 104000, up 43 per cent from a year earlier. In addition to B-series cars and X-series SUV, Pentium's latest T-series SUV has become the main volume model.

Pentium T77 as the main model of the brand, the collision performance is not ideal, the front 25% offset collision and the protection of the personnel in the car have a serious loss of points, the improvement of structural safety has a long way to go.
