Including Lulai, ideal, Xiaopeng, Weima, Qidian, Yundu, electric coffee, Baoneng, etc., more than a dozen of them have launched new energy products, and the rest are nowhere to be seen. At a time when new energy subsidies have fallen sharply and sales of new energy vehicles have declined one after another, the new forces of car building have entered the knockout stage ahead of schedule, and only a few may survive in the end.

The Timi car brand officially launched recently, announcing its entry into the new energy passenger car market, and announced that the first car is a pure electric SUV, which has a range of up to 500km and is scheduled to go on sale in 2021.

Timi Automobile brand logo uses the W shape, the English name is "Skywell". According to the inspection information, Jiangsu Tianmei Automobile Co., Ltd. was established on November 1, 2019, and the legal representative is Huang Hongsheng, whose main business scope is related to vehicle research and development, manufacturing, sales and after-sales service; auto parts research and development, manufacturing, sales; new energy vehicle technology development, technology transfer, consulting and technical services; car rental and so on.

Huang Hongsheng, founder of Skyworth, former Skyworth Group and Chairman of Skyworth Holdings, established Kevo Automobile Group, which is dominated by Nanjing Jinlong, in 2011, and began to lay out the new energy vehicle market. Kaiwo Automobile has a series of new energy buses, light buses and special-purpose vehicles, and intends to enter the new energy passenger car market, resulting in the birth of "Timi Automobile".

Nowadays, in the stage of sharp decline in new energy subsidies and continuous decline in sales, the pressure on enterprises to survive has increased. Tianmei Automobile said: "the new energy vehicle market has entered the post-subsidy era, and the competition is becoming increasingly fierce. Choosing to enter the market at this time is a sign of enterprise confidence."

According to the China Automobile Association, sales of new energy vehicles in China in November were 95000, down 43.7 per cent from a year earlier, and 1.043 million in the first 11 months, up 1.3 per cent from a year earlier. At the end of the high growth phase, sales of new energy vehicles have declined for five consecutive months and are about to usher in the first annual negative growth.

With the withdrawal of subsidies and the decline in sales, the new power of Chinese car-making companies have accelerated to enter the knockout stage of the industry. Cui Dongshu, secretary general of the China passenger car Association, said earlier that "this year is the year of differentiation of the new power of car building, and next year will be the year of collapse." Li Xiang, founder of ideal Automobile, believes that consumers will have stricter requirements for new carmakers than traditional automakers, and only about five will win in the end.
