This kind of problem appeared only after driving 30 kilometers after buying it newly. Ms. Li said it was difficult to accept it, and asked Xinfengtai Star 4S Store not to want this car, whether to replace a new car or return the car, but 4S Store refused.

Ms. Li said that the 4S shop gave a treatment opinion to repair something inside the gearbox,"because I bought a new car, asked them to deliver me a new car without quality problems, now want to change or return the car."

So, why does this newly purchased Mercedes have such a problem? Can Ms. Li's vehicle meet the return standard? In the face of these problems, Xi'an Xinfengtai Star 4S shop staff made such a reply.

The 4S shop marketing manager said that the vehicle had problems, mainly because the gearbox control unit of Ms. Li's Mercedes-Benz was abnormal, resulting in the vehicle engine failing to start.

The 4S shop also issued a pre-sale inspection certificate for the vehicle on the 19th, showing that the electronic control device of the dual clutch gearbox was "in good condition". The 4S store marketing manager said that when the vehicle arrives at the store, an inspection will be done first, and then another inspection will be done before the vehicle is delivered to the customer, which is the requirement of the 4S store and determines that the vehicle is free of problems.

For Ms. Li's vehicle failure situation, staff said they felt very sorry, but for Ms. Li put forward to return the car request, they can not meet. The marketing manager of 4S store said that Ms. Li's vehicle problem did not comply with the return clause in the national automobile three guarantees policy.

At present, Ms. Li also communicates and negotiates with 4S shop for compensation and replacement of vehicles.

Among them, the main assembly includes engine and gearbox, and the main parts in gearbox include box, gear, shaft, bearing and power transmission element in box (including clutch and brake). This means that Ms. Li's gearbox control unit failure may not comply with the terms of Mercedes-Benz's new car quality assurance policy.
