Dongfeng Yueda Kia officially announced that the new KX5 compact SUV is officially on the market, with a price range of 15.48-181800 yuan. The new model has a change in appearance and design, with 1.6T and 2.0L engines.

The new KX5 is not synchronized with the overseas version of the mid-term model, but is localized for the Chinese market. The shape of the tiger whistle intake grille has changed and is connected to the headlight group, while the rear part uses the through taillight group shape. The body size is 4550 × 1855 × 1645mm and the wheelbase is 2670mm.

Interior decoration continues the relatively simple design, the use of large-size central control touch screen, the whole is not very prominent.

In terms of power, the new KX5 uses the 1.6T and 2.0L engines of the current model, with a maximum power of 177hp and 165hp respectively, of which the 1.6T model matches the 7-speed double clutch gearbox and the 2.0L model matches the 6AT manual self-integrated gearbox. In addition, the top model also provides a four-wheel drive system.
