At the end of October this year, Mr. Hua bought a new BMW 3-Series at the Hecheng BMW 4S store on Shaoxing Road, totaling 340000 yuan. After driving the new car for two weeks, I went to the 4S store to install the new car recorder, and the next day after installation, the central control screen of the vehicle frequently displayed fault prompts, when the mileage of the new car was only 1600 kilometers.

Mr. Hua said that the vehicle displayed a number of fault warnings, including lighting system, turn signal system and daytime driving lights, and sometimes the headlights turned on while not on. When something went wrong, I found the 4S store many times. At first, the 4S store suspected that there was something wrong with the driving recorder, but the problem could not be solved by changing it many times.

After feedback from the 4S store, the manufacturer gave a reply saying that the BDC module (main domain controller) was faulty and needed to be replaced. In Mr. Hua's view, the vehicle failure occurred only after the 4S store replaced the driving recorder, so it is suspected to be caused by the 4S store error, but the person in charge of the Hecheng BMW 4S store denied this claim.

The person in charge said that the vehicle will not encounter the circuit of the BDC module when installing the traffic recorder, and as to why the DBC was damaged, the person in charge said that he could not give a specific answer because it involved more in-depth technology, and Mr. Hua could not accept the explanation of the person in charge.

It is understood that the BDC module is mainly to control the vehicle lighting system, which is located at the bottom of the vehicle co-driver center control. However, Mr. Hua said that his vehicle came out to install the traffic recorder, and no other parts of the vehicle had been opened. He hoped to see the staff who installed the recorder at that time, but the person in charge refused.

Finally, the person in charge said that in order to solve the problem of the car owner as soon as possible, the BDC module would be replaced as soon as possible, and promised that if there were any subsequent problems, it would be strictly implemented in accordance with the provisions of the "three guarantees Law". However, Mr. Hua said that he is still worried about the safety risks caused by the replacement of vehicles, and if there are still problems, he will continue to investigate.

When there is something wrong with the vehicle, the 4S store has avoided talking about the specific reasons, which is obviously unacceptable to consumers, saying only that it will be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of the three-guarantee law, but it will be replaced according to the three-guarantee law, which means that the store cannot confirm whether there will be problems with the follow-up vehicles, but only promises to continue to provide solutions for consumers.
