The appearance of the overall model is firm and burly, which appears very aggressive. In terms of size, according to the information of previous declaration drawings, the length, width and height of the brand-new Ruihu 7 are 4500/1842/1746mm and the wheelbase is 2670mm. The size of the new car is the same as Chang 'an CS55 Plus, similar to Chuanqi GS4, Geely Boyue PRO, etc., and the space performance is good.

The interior design of the new car also adopts a brand-new design language. The interior is matched in three colors, with a floating display and an all-LCD dashboard, and physical buttons are added around the gear handle. In terms of configuration, the new car will provide panoramic sunroof, roof rack, front and rear parking radar, active braking, 360-degree panoramic image, etc. according to different configurations.

In terms of power, the brand-new Ruihu 7 provides 1.5T and 1.6T powertrains, among which the 1.5T model is equipped with SQRE 4T15C 1.5T engine, with maximum power of 156Ps and peak torque of 230N·m, matching CVT gearbox or 6MT; The 1.6T model is equipped with SQRF4J16 1.6T engine, which is the third generation engine independently developed by Chery, with maximum power of 197 horsepower and matching 7DCT gearbox.

Ruihu 7 is positioned as a compact SUV. Before Ruihu 8 was launched, Ruihu 7 has been the main market force of Chery Automobile. When Ruihu 7 was introduced to the market, Haval H6, Geely Boyue, Chuanqi GS4 and other models were also quickly introduced to the market, and the competitive pressure of Ruihu 7 was extremely high. The launch of Ruihu 8 makes a blood road for Chery Automobile. Thanks to its strong product power, Ruihu 8 has great competitive advantage in Boyue, Chang 'an CS75 and other models.

Sales data show that as of November, Chery's cumulative sales volume was 527,000 vehicles, up 11% year-on-year, among which Ruihu 8 and Arize became the main sales force of Chery Automobile, with sales volume of 13549 vehicles and 12057 vehicles respectively in November.

At the beginning of this year, Chery did not announce its annual sales target for 2019. According to the annual sales target of 900,000 vehicles in 2018, Chery's completion rate was only 59% as of November this year.
