According to media reports, Mercedes-Benz will launch a new entry-level all-electric SUV--EQA, which is scheduled to be launched in 2020, which was confirmed by Mercedes-Benz CEO Kang Songlin.

At the Mercedes-Benz GLA launch, Kang Songlin showed a preview of the EQA. From the appearance, the car has many similarities with the new GLA, using the AMG suite design style, such as the rearview mirror shell and door handles are blackened, and the integration of new energy elements can further highlight its special identity.

The interior decoration of Mercedes-Benz EQA follows the family design language, adopts double screen design, and the air conditioning outlet adopts the same circular air outlet style as Class A.

In terms of power, the new car will be driven by pure electricity and equipped with front and rear motors. It is expected to provide 60kWh battery packs with maximum power up to 200kW and peak torque 500N.m. In addition, the new car will provide 60kWh's lithium-ion battery pack with a range of up to 400km.

In addition to EQA, EQB also plans to go public in 2021. The EQB is a compact all-electric SUV owned by Mercedes-Benz. It is based on the Mercedes-Benz GLB and is positioned between the EQA and the EQC. In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with the same powertrain of EQA, a power system composed of electric motors, with a maximum power of 200kW, a peak torque of 500N ·m and a life span of 500km.

At present, Mercedes-Benz's first pure electric EQC has been officially launched on November 8, and the car is positioned as a medium-sized pure electric SUV with a price of 57.98-622800 yuan. In terms of power, Mercedes-Benz EQC is equipped with a pure electric power system composed of two induction induction units and ternary lithium batteries with a capacity of 79.2kWh, with a maximum power of 300kW (408hp) and a peak torque of 760Nm. It is officially announced that its acceleration time of 0-100km/h is 5.1 seconds, and the comprehensive mileage of NEDC is 415km.

It is understood that EQA, EQB, EQE, EQS and EQV five pure electric models have been registered in China and are expected to be mass produced in the future.
