Reasons for recall:

In some vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to the assembly process of engine suppliers, the sealant track at the joint of engine timing chain cover and oil pan is unreasonable, which may lead to oil leakage at the joint of timing chain cover and oil pan. Serious lack of oil may lead to the risk of engine damage and start flameout, and there are hidden dangers.

Solution:

Dongfeng Yueda Kia Automobile Co., Ltd. will replace the new oil pressure warning switch for vehicles within the recall area free of charge, so that the lack of oil can be detected earlier, and at the same time, the oil pan and oil will be replaced for vehicles with oil leakage to eliminate safety risks. Dongfeng Yueda Kia promised to provide lifetime warranty for the vehicles in the recall due to the quality problems caused by oil pan leakage.

Dongfeng Yueda Kia Automobile Co., Ltd. will notify the relevant car owners by registered letter, text message, telephone and so on through the dealer.
