The new three-pack rules will impose more stringent conditions for the return and replacement of cars. The original car three guarantees stipulate that the same fault repair can be changed more than 5 times. Within the validity period of the three guarantees, if the cumulative repair time of the car exceeds 35 days, or if the repair caused by the same product quality problem accumulates more than 5 times, the consumer can change the car.
According to he Xing, the new three-pack rule reduces these two numbers to 30 days and 4 times respectively, making adjustments in a more favorable direction for consumers.
In addition, the new three-pack regulations also plan to introduce relevant provisions of the consumer protection law. The same fault repair can be changed more than 5 times, within the validity period of three guarantees, if the cumulative repair time of the car exceeds 35 days, or the cumulative repair caused by the same product quality problem exceeds 5 times, the consumer can change the car.
Within 60 days from the date when the seller issues the invoice for the purchase of the car, or within 3000 kilometers (whichever comes first), the household car product has steering system failure, braking system failure, body cracking or fuel leakage, if the consumer chooses to replace the family car product or return it, the seller shall be responsible for the replacement or return free of charge.
During the period of validity of the three packages, two repairs have been carried out accumulatively due to serious safety performance failures, and serious safety performance failures have not been eliminated or new serious safety performance failures have occurred. After the engine and transmission have been replaced for 2 times, or if the same major parts of the engine and transmission cannot be used normally after 2 times of replacement due to their quality problems, the replacement times of the engine, transmission and their main parts shall not be repeated. If the same major parts of the steering system, braking system, suspension system, front / rear axle and car body cannot be used normally after a cumulative replacement of 2 times due to quality problems, if the consumer chooses to replace or return the goods, the seller shall be responsible for the replacement or return.
If the household car products meet the replacement conditions, the sellers do not have the same brand of household automobile products of the same model, and all the household automobile products configured with the original car are replaced to the consumer, the consumer may choose to return the product, and the seller shall be responsible for returning the goods for the consumer.
2. The owner of a car that has been repaired for more than 5 days has the right to drive a spare car.
