This is a new function jointly launched by BYD DiLink Ecology and Huawei Wallet. You only need BYD cloud service APP to associate Huawei Wallet. After activating the car key function, you can unlock the door with your mobile phone. No matter whether the mobile phone is powered on or off, you can unlock and start the vehicle as long as you put the mobile phone close to the left front rearview mirror of the car. It is reported that this function will be equipped on Song Pro at the beginning of next year.

In addition, BYD DiLink will release a clairvoyance_remote image feature that allows users to remotely call the front, interior and panoramic cameras to view the inside and outside of the car, similar to Tesla's "Sentinel Mode."

However, at present, this function only supports Huawei mobile phones. In the future, BYD DiLink mobile phone NFC car keys will be gradually adapted to more brands of mobile phones such as OPPO, vivo, Xiaomi, etc., as well as mobile SIM, so that more BYD owners can feel this function.

In fact, this function is not unique to BYD. In March this year, Huawei officially launched the motorcycle key function at Huawei P30 series mobile phone launch conference, and this function has already supported many models such as Audi and BMW.

For this function security issues are many netizens are concerned about, Huawei said that the NFC function of the car key follows the CCC specification of the Global Internet of Vehicles Alliance, the key and algorithm logic are stored in the mobile phone chip, will not be accessed by any third-party applications, users do not need to worry about being copied or brute force cracking.
