Skoda released its 2018 results, which showed that for the whole of 2018, Skoda's sales revenue was 17.3 billion euros, up 4.4% from the same period last year; operating profit was 1.38 billion euros, down 14.6% from the same period last year; and sales profit margin fell 1.7% from the same period last year. Skoda's total global sales in 2018 were 1.2537 million, up 4.4% from the same period last year, the fifth consecutive year of growth.

In terms of specific models, Skoda is still the best-selling model of the brand. Hot sales of the SUV Skodak Kroc and Kodiak have made an important contribution to the continued growth of the brand, with deliveries of 115700 and 149200, respectively. In the Chinese market, Skoda SUV series models sold more than 10,000 vehicles, accounting for about 1/3 of Skoda's total sales in China.

Data show that Europe and China are important markets for Skoda. Among them, Skoda sold 826800 vehicles in Europe, an increase of 4.9 percent over the same period last year, while sales in Russia increased by 30.7 percent to 81500. The Chinese market sold 341000 vehicles, up 4.9% from the same period last year. China is still Skoda's largest single market in the world.
