Among them, Audi sold 630800 domestic cars in 2019, an increase of 5.0% over the same period last year, accounting for 91.5%.

According to November sales statistics, Audi will only rank third among luxury brands in 2019, with BMW Group selling 655783 vehicles in China and Mercedes-Benz selling 640933 vehicles in the previous November.

Judging from Audi's performance in China in 2019, it performed poorly in the first half of the year and began to make efforts in the second half of the year, selling more than 60,000 vehicles for four consecutive months.

In the past year, a number of Audi main models have been replaced one after another, resulting in a greater impact on sales, mainly due to the lack of new car concessions, consumers are in a wait-and-see state, with the preferential efforts to return to the normal level, Audi terminal sales gradually recover.

In terms of specific models, Audi A6L sold 131185 vehicles in the whole year, Q5L sold 138970 vehicles and A4L sold 168473 vehicles. Imported model A8L sold 12428 vehicles and Q7 sold 15578 vehicles in the whole year.

According to the new car plan, Audi will launch more than 20 models in 2020, including new models, modified models, replacement models and so on. At the same time, the Audi A7L, the first domestic car made by SAIC Audi, will also be officially put into production.

In 2020, FAW-Volkswagen Audi will first usher in the new model of RS 5 Sportback, and three model changes will be launched in April, including the medium-term modification of A4L, the revamped A6L and the new domestic car Q3 Sportback. By December of the year, Audi e-tron pure electric vehicles will be switched from imported to CKD domestic.

Generally speaking, the new car launch of FAW-Volkswagen Audi in 2020 is not attractive, and the competitiveness of new products has declined. And the most noteworthy is that SAIC Audi ushered in the first confirmed production this year, as for the listing time has not been finally confirmed.

SAIC Audi A7L has been lengthened on the original model, with a length of more than 5 meters and a four-door sedan, which is based on the MLB Evo platform of Volkswagen Group. The starting price of the domestic A7L is expected to be less than 500000 yuan. At the same time, SAIC Audi A7L will mainly launch 2.0T models (40 TFSI/45 TFSI), of which the 40 TFSI 2.0T engine has a maximum output of 190hp, a peak torque of 320Nm, and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 8.3s; the 45 TFSI model is a high-power 2.0T engine with a maximum output of 245hp, a peak torque of 370Nm and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 7 seconds. In terms of gearbox, all match 7-speed double clutch gearbox.

In early 2019, Audi released a new car plan for the Chinese market, saying that it was accelerating the development of the domestic market, launching seven local models in the next five years, and planned that sales in the Chinese market would double to 1.2 million in six years.
