After Cruz and Cowoz, Chevrolet's third compact car came on the market. SAIC GM Chevrolet announced that the new model "Cruze" is officially on the market, with a price of 899-119900 yuan. The new car is equipped with SAIC GM's newly popular powertrain, including 1.0T and 1.3T three-cylinder engines.

Kruze's positioning focuses on the young sports style, in order to better distinguish it from the market segments where Cruz and Kowoz are located. The new car has two versions, Redline and RS, with a large intake grille design and bright black painting to further highlight the sense of movement. In addition, the car logo logo and the rear logo also use blackening treatment. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car is 4614 (4630) / 1798/1485mm, and the wheelbase is 2640mm.

The interior has not changed much, which is close to Cowitz. Chevrolet calls it a "flying wing" design, which is really not good at the level of the new car in 2019.

In terms of power, Cruze is equipped with 1.0T and 1.3T three-cylinder turbocharged engines with a maximum power of 125 horsepower and 163 horsepower and a maximum torque of 170 Nm and 230 Nm respectively. The 1.0T model is matched with a manual or six-gear double-clutch transmission, while the 1.3t RS matches a six-block self-contained transmission.

As a special car, Kruze faces competitors such as Guangzhou Automobile Honda Ling School, Changan Ford Forrest, FAW-Volkswagen Bora and so on.

Officials also announced that this year is the "big year" of Chevrolet products, and two new SUV and an all-electric model will be launched this year.

The active sports design of Cruze attracts young consumers, but the three-cylinder engine used in the whole system is really embarrassing.
