Comments about the Audi Q9 have been circulating online for many years, and now Auto Bild of Germany claims that the Audi Q9 will be launched by the end of this year.

For quite a long time, it has been speculated that the Audi Q9 will look like a coupe, bigger and more luxurious than the existing Q8. If the Auto Bild report is true, it will be a competitor to the BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS, whose main markets include China, South America and the Middle East. Q9 is expected to be higher and larger than Q7.

As can be seen from the picture, the Audi Q9 uses a design similar to Coupe, with a family design language on the front face and sharp headlights. The side of the car adopts the slip-back design, the luggage rack and window line are also dotted with black elements, and the bottom selects large-size aluminum alloy wheels. There is no accident at the rear of the car, the family signboard is not absent through the taillights, and the hidden exhaust layout below is also in line with the family design trend.

On the power side, the new car is expected to be equipped with 3.0T V6 and 4.0T V8 turbocharged gasoline / diesel engines, followed by higher-end SQ9 and RS Q9 versions.

The new car will be built on the same MLB evo platform as Q7 and will be available in five-seat and seven-seat versions. From the known hypothetical diagram, it is depicted as a Q9 version with S-Line kit.

Audi completed the trademark registration of Q9 as early as December 2013, but the official secrecy has satisfied consumers' appetite. At present, Audi's product lineup already covers many segments of the high-end market. It is understood that Audi will launch two new cars by the end of 2021, and the long-awaited Audi Q9 is expected to go on sale by the end of 2020.
