Geely Automobile officially announced that its brand new mid-sized SUV codenamed VX11 was named "Haoyue" and released the official map of the car. According to earlier information, Haoyue will be listed for sale in 2020.

Haoyue uses Geely ripple family grille, with polygonal headlight group, and adopts all-black Geely LOGO. The front face shape conforms to Geely's recognizable family style. There are not many bright spots on the side of the car body, like the shape of a high-spirited SUV.

On the tail side, the polygonal tail lights on both sides are connected by a chrome trim strip, and the overall design is very simple. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4835/1900/1780mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2815 mm. It is positioned as a medium-sized SUV.

In terms of configuration, the new car can also be equipped with LED water steering rearview mirror, matrix headlights, ACC+12 radar, panoramic sunroof, front fog lamp and other configurations. In terms of power, according to the previous declaration information of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new car will be equipped with 1.8T and 1.5T engines, with maximum power of 184 horsepower and 177 horsepower respectively, which is expected to be the same as the power layout of Geely Jiaji.

With the launch of medium-sized SUV Haoyue, Jian further fills Geely's product gap in this segment. Competitors include BYD Tang, Chery Ruihu 8, GAC Chuanqi GS5, Haval H7, etc. According to sales data, Geely Group's total sales volume for the whole year in 2019 was 1,361,560 vehicles, down about 9% from the same period last year, just meeting the sales target. Meanwhile, Geely's sales target for 2020 is set at 1.41 million units.
