Today Xiaopeng Automobile announced that former Mercedes-Benz designer Do Young Woo joined Xiaopeng Automobile as the external styling design director.

Do Young Woo graduated from the American Art Center School of Design. He joined Ford Motor in 1999 and has been engaged in automobile design for nearly 20 years. He has worked in Ford, Mazda and Mercedes-Benz. He participated in the design of new Mercedes-Benz CLS and new generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class models, determined the design concept of Mazda 6 and Mazda 2 models, and created a large number of classic works.

Regarding joining Xiaopeng, Do Young Woo said: "Xiaopeng cars fit my goals very well, so I didn't hesitate to come here. Before Do Young Woo, Xiaopeng Automobile has recruited four industry executives since this year, including Li Pengcheng, former FAW-Volkswagen Brand Public Relations Director, who served as General Manager of Xiaopeng Brand Public Relations; Gong Xiashan, Minister of Quality Assurance Department and Quality Management Department of GAC Toyota, served as Senior Director of Production Quality of Xiaopeng Automobile; Luo Bingchun, after-sales expert of GAC Honda, served as Senior Director of After-sales Service of Xiaopeng Automobile; Liu Pei, former head of sales department and vice head of marketing department of Dongfeng Peugeot, served as deputy general manager of sales.
