From the new car declaration information released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Changan Mazda's new SUV model CX-30 has been officially announced, which uses a Mazda family design and carries a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine.

The overall styling of Changan Mazda CX-30 continues the design concept of Soul 2.0, using a larger shield air intake grid, and the rest of the design is relatively simple. From the side of the body, the car is consistent with the overseas version, continuing the "small slip back" style. At the same time, the rear outline of the car continues the thick and round design of Mazda SUV.

In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the domestic CX-30 are 4395/1797/1545mm, the wheelbase is 2653mm, and the positioning is small SUV. As the imported CX-3 does not meet the national six standards, it is possible to replace its market position with domestic CX-30 in the future.

The interior of the domestic CX-30 will continue the new design of Mazda, and the center console can choose a two-color design with a good sense of layering, adopting the popular suspension central control screen, and integrating multimedia control buttons and knobs in the position of the back end of the block handle.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine with a maximum power of 158 horsepower (116 kilowatts) and a maximum torque of 200 Nm, matched with a six-block self-contained gearbox.

Mazda China chairman Yukihiko Watanabe said: Mazda will introduce the SKYACTIV-X compression ignition engine in the Chinese market in 2020, which will be the first to be installed in the 2021 Mazda 3 Oncella and the upcoming CX-30 models.

With reference to the price of the CX-4 2.0L model from 14.88 to 178800 yuan, the domestic CX-30 may start at 120000 yuan. With the launch of CX-30, Changan Mazda domestic model products will also reach four.

Mazda sold 227750 vehicles in China in 2019, down 16.37% from a year earlier, failing to meet its sales target of 270000 vehicles. Among them, FAW Mazda sold 91416 vehicles and Changan Mazda sold 136334 vehicles.
