After announcing the name "adventurer" of the first domestic model, the Lincoln brand recently announced that domestic adventurers will go on sale in March with an official pre-price of 24.80-350000 yuan. The new car is positioned as a compact SUV, the successor to Lincoln MKC, with a 2.0T engine, a maximum output of 245hp, a peak torque of 390Nm, an eight-speed manual integrated transmission and a front-drive and four-wheel drive version.

The imported version of Lincoln MKC costs 27.98-376800 yuan, so the introduction of domestic adventurers will further lower the price threshold.

The Changan Lincoln adventurer will be the first model of the joint venture, which was originally scheduled to go on sale in China at the end of 2019, but has been delayed.

From the appearance, the domestic version is consistent with the overseas version. The shape of the headlight group is regular, the daytime driving lights are independent of the lower part of the lamp group, the front face is designed by the Lincoln family, and the middle grid is decorated with a large number of chrome-plated parts, with silver strips on the front lips to create an American sense of luxury.

On the rear side, the new car still continues Lincoln's iconic through taillights and has a reversing video camera in the middle of the rear door. On the left side of the tail is the "Changan Lincoln" logo, which represents the identity of its domestic car, while the lower part of the tail uses a bilateral exhaust layout.

In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4615/1887/1630mm and the wheelbase is 2711mm, keeping the size of the overseas version.

From the interior point of view, the overall design of the new car is also consistent with that of the overseas version, with a large central control screen above the center console and an air-conditioning control area below, with paint panels added, and the new car interior uses a large area of leather wrap.

In terms of power, there are two models with a 2.0T engine in the declaration, with a maximum power of 248 horsepower, which is expected to match the new eight-speed manual transmission.

In response to market changes, Changan Motor and Ford signed a deepening cooperation agreement earlier, and the two sides plan to speed up the localization of new models of the Ford brand and Lincoln brand.

Sales of Lincoln in China in 2018 were 55315, up 2.2% from the same period last year; from January to June 2019, cumulative sales were 25514, down 5% from the same period last year. Ford wants to cope with the competition in the luxury car market through the localization of the Lincoln brand, while pursuing Ford's revival plan in China.

Lincoln brand has always been a niche luxury brand in the Chinese market, and many netizens believe that the impact of localization on the brand will be relatively large, and the premium will drop seriously. But in the face of price compromise, maybe Lincoln will get good market attention.
