It is understood that the comprehensive complaint data for the whole year are selected on the basis of the guidelines for Safety risk Assessment and risk Control of Automotive products implemented by the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration and the National Standardization Administration of China, and the guidelines for judging the serious Safety performance of Household Automobile products, including the scoring of service quality and product quality, the higher the complaint index score. It indicates that the higher the security risk of the failure problem is.

This complaint list only shows the top 10 car companies, of which independent brands account for 50%, followed by Japanese brands, accounting for 30%, and Korean models and French models each account for 10%.

At the top of the list of complaints is Jianghuai Motors, which suffered dozens of complaints about its Jianghuai Ruifeng A60 model in 2019, including serious setbacks and abnormal noises in the gearbox, according to the China Automobile quality Network. In fact, not only Ruifeng A60, many models of Jianghuai also have the same problem.

In second place is the Korean model Beijing Hyundai. In recent years, Hyundai's sales have been declining. In addition to the rise of its own brands, another reason is the frequent occurrence of quality problems, such as abnormal noise in all its models, and a lot of them. For example, the compact SUV Xintusheng has also caused a large number of complaints from car owners and repeated recalls because of the "high oil" problem, as well as the "brother" of Kia.

In the third place, although Geely is the "leader" of domestic independent brands, and its annual sales are also among the best, there are as many complaints as it does. The complaint volume of its Dihao, Boyue, Borey, Vision and other models is relatively high, among which Geely Vision's gearbox power interruption has become the focus of complaints, while Geely's engine power shortage and other problems also occur from time to time. Therefore, while sales increase, Geely should also improve the corresponding quality control problems.

Followed by domestic models are GAC MOTOR, Zhongtai Automobile and Geely's high-end brand Lecker. GAC MOTOR complaints appear more in the brake system noise and transformation system noise and other aspects, appear in its GS5 models more. Zhongtai's problems are mainly focused on its best-selling T600, including gearbox and seat problems. Lecker's problems are similar to those of Geely.

Also on the list of joint venture models are Dongfeng Nissan, FAW Mazda, FAW Toyota and Dongfeng Citroen, like Qijun and Xiaoke of Dongfeng Nissan, which are often at the forefront of a complaint console because of gearbox setbacks and engine noise problems. And FAW Mazda's Atez abnormal noise complaints are also in the majority. FAW Toyota previously recalled Yize models due to engine assembly errors that may cause engine damage. The C4L of Dongfeng Citroen has encountered many complaints because of problems such as steering system and oil burning.

Generally speaking, most of the car companies on the list are independent brands, which also shows that domestic independent brands still have more room for growth compared with joint venture brands. Toyota, which has a good reputation, has also appeared in the joint venture models. of course, every car company will have complaints about car quality problems, and the car is made up of thousands of parts, so it is inevitable to have some quality problems. For the car companies that are not on the list, it may be because of the high comprehensive score in the quality of service and product quality.
