Tesla's fifth production car, Model Y, is about to be delivered. According to foreign media, a recent Model Y reservation owner from Canada said he received a call from Tesla employees that Model Y would start delivery next month, and revealed the approximate delivery time of Model Y.

It is understood that Model Y dual-motor all-wheel drive Performance high-performance version will first start delivery in February; dual-motor all-wheel drive long-range version will start delivery around March / April; seven-seat models are expected to start delivery in May; all configured models can be delivered in the third quarter.

However, the above delivery time is overseas version, the Chinese version of the model has not yet announced the delivery time. At the time of the delivery of domestic Model 3, Tesla's Shanghai factory has started the production plan of Model Y. Musk said that Model Y is an affordable electric suv created by Tesla, just like Model 3 is a car for Volkswagen, both areas are Tesla's favorite auto consumer market.

Model Y is a compact SUV based on Model 3. Tesla's official website shows that there are three versions of Model Y. the long-lasting afterdrive costs 444000 yuan, has a range of 540km and can accelerate up to 5.8seconds at 100km. Then there are the long-lasting version of dual-motor all-wheel drive and the high-performance version of Performance, which are priced at 488000 yuan and 535000 yuan respectively. Tesla expects the domestic version to start production as soon as 2021 and did not give a specific delivery time.

After the launch of the domestic Model 3, the market response was enthusiastic, and the price dropped to 299050 yuan. According to Tesla's sales staff, the domestic Model sold 1,000 vehicles in 3 days.
