According to the report, the airbag "will trigger the front airbag only if the collision intensity is higher" and "the front airbag will be triggered only if there is a severe front collision with high deceleration". In response to the explanation of the in-vehicle emergency call system, the report said that "the control unit and antenna cable were damaged by a severe tail collision, so it was technically impossible to successfully initiate an emergency call."

Mr. Wu said he could not accept the explanation of the Mercedes-Benz report. He thought, "it is not serious enough that the car has been scrapped. Is it only serious if the car is smashed to pieces?"
