The new car is expected to make its official debut in the summer of 2020 and go on sale this year.

As a mid-term revamped model of the W213 series, the front face of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class has changed obviously. There are still two kinds of appearance options, among which the positioning of the standing standard model is too luxurious, and the positioning of the winning model is partial to movement. The biggest change in the new E-class front face is the replacement of a new style of headlamp group, and its LED daily lights are the same as the new CLS. At the same time, the front bar of the new car has also been adjusted compared with the cash model.

The side of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class does not change much compared with the cash model, and the profile of the side of the car is very close to the cash model. The change in the outline of the tail is not obvious, and the taillight will be similar to the new Class A.

The interior also maintains the cash design, only the steering wheel is replaced with the new three-frame sports steering wheel, but it uses segmented multi-function buttons, which is relatively novel. In addition, the new E-Class has added the active steering system for the first time, and the official has also upgraded and optimized the safety configuration, including active lane maintenance auxiliary system, active brake auxiliary system, active blind spot auxiliary system and so on.

The new car is expected to carry a 2.0T four-cylinder engine and a 3.0T engine codenamed M256, with maximum power of 271Ps and 367Ps respectively, both of which are equipped with micro-mixing systems. At present, the E-class is equipped with M264 series 1.5T and 2.0T engines. According to Mercedes-Benz official information, the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class will be upgraded in the electrification system, and there will be seven plug-in hybrid models.

The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class will be officially launched in Europe this summer, followed by a sedan version and a domestic extended version. Compared with the old models, the new Mercedes-Benz E only changes the front face appearance and power system, and with the changes of E-class and S-class models, Mercedes-Benz family models change more.

In the troubled years of 2019, Mercedes-Benz still delivered excellent results, showing a trend of reverse growth throughout the year, delivering a total of 702088 new cars for the whole year, an increase of 4% over the same period last year. Among them, domestic E-Class accumulated 153890 vehicles in the whole year, an increase of 8.2% over the same period last year.
