Due to poor sales of domestic 508L, there are still uncertainties in the plan, but there have been recent media reports that Peugeot 508L SW will be imported into China by the end of this year.

The biggest highlight of the Peugeot 508 SW is its appearance of a station wagon and its frameless doors.

The Peugeot 508 SW continues the 508L front face shape, using a more complex design with many layers of detail. This "lion roar" front face comes from the Peugeot Instinct concept car. In terms of details, the dot-type chrome plating screen area is small, between the net and the bonnet is the "508" model logo. What is most striking is that the "fangs" day lights on both sides greatly improve the recognition of the whole vehicle.

The side and rear are the special features of the car. As the positioning of the station wagon, it extends to the tail and has a prominent shape, which gives it a good trunk volume and makes it look more dynamic. At present, there are not many styles of station wagons in the domestic market, and the actual sales situation is not ideal due to the low heat of the market, and the visibility on the road is very general. The biggest competitor to the Peugeot 508 SW will be Volkswagen and the domestic FAW-Volkswagen CC travel version by the end of this year.

Domestic consumers have a high degree of discussion about station wagons, but not many people consider station wagons in the actual purchase process. There may be a good pricing for the introduction of the Peugeot 508 SW, which may attract the attention of some consumers.

In terms of sales figures, DPCA's cumulative sales in 2019 were 113579, down 55 per cent from a year earlier and 84 per cent lower than at its peak.
