Tianji Automobile Changsha New Energy Project started construction in Changsha, Hunan Province on March 20. it is understood that the project covers a total area of 500mu and a total investment of 5.1 billion yuan. Mainly used for the production of high-end electric models of Skyline Automobile, the project plans to build welding workshop, painting workshop, final assembly workshop and production auxiliary facilities. The factory is scheduled to be completed in November 2020. After the project is completed and put into production, it is estimated that 60, 000 new energy passenger vehicles will be produced every year, with an annual output value of more than 13 billion yuan.

Prior to this, Skyline has already unveiled its first production model, the ME7, which is positioned as an all-electric medium-sized SUV with an acceleration of only 4.9seconds and a maximum mileage of 700km. The car is scheduled to go on sale at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show and officially begin delivery in the second half of the year. In the next five years, Skyline will continue to improve the product layout, and eight new models will be launched in the future, including two cars, five SUV and one MPV, and the planned sales will reach 360000 in 2025.
