In addition, Weima Automobile guarantees the value preservation rate of this electric vehicle in the "Weima Direct purchase". After two years of use, the repurchase price of Weima EX6 Plus 400 can reach up to 60900 yuan, with a value preservation rate of 60.9%.

The preservation rate of second-hand electric vehicles has always been one of the most worrying factors for consumers to buy new energy vehicles. According to the January preservation rate of new energy used vehicles released by Jingzhen estimate, among the top 10 new energy vehicles, only two pure electric vehicles are on the list, of which Tesla Model X has a three-year preservation rate of 67.3% and BMW i3 has a three-year preservation rate of 32.0%.

At present, due to the low value preservation rate of new energy vehicles, new energy vehicles will experience a sharp drop in battery life and slow battery charging after three years of use. for this case, car owners either buy batteries at high prices to replace them, or sell used cars at low prices, but no matter how they choose, it is not cost-effective for car owners.

At present, the battery of new energy vehicle is a difficult problem in the development of electric vehicle. Some people in the industry said that at present, new energy vehicles are still a technical problem, and the warranty period for electric vehicle batteries is about 6-8 years. After that, new energy vehicles are basically in a state of scrap. For decommissioned new energy batteries, there is still not a mature business model for recycling.

From the point of view of the direct purchase mode released by Weima Automobile, it is directly aimed at the pain points in the life cycle of new energy vehicles, including the preservation rate of electric vehicles, the high threshold of electric vehicles and the use of batteries of new energy vehicles. According to Weima officials, the number of "direct purchase" bookings has reached 1000.

Sales data show that Weimar delivered a total of 16876 new cars in 2019, only in NIO. At present, Weima EX5 is the only model on sale, and it is not easy to be angry in the context of the downturn in the domestic car market.

In 2020, with the entry of EX6, Weima's sales will also increase. Coupled with the "Weima direct purchase" car purchase method, it will also contribute to the growth of Weima's sales. Affected by the epidemic, Weima performed slightly poorly in January this year. According to the insurance volume released by the China Automotive Center, the number of Weima cars insured in January was only 808, down 59.7% from the same period last year.
