There are still not many bright spots in Ford's new cars in 2019, with total sales of 568000 vehicles, down 26% from a year earlier, but losses narrowed sharply, with a loss of $771 million in China for the whole year, compared with a loss of $1.5 billion in 2018. Changan Ford Ruiji four-wheel drive version was officially launched at the end of last year, and the future market performance can only be announced in 2020.

Ford speeded up its business in China after suffering losses in slow new car propulsion. According to the Ford China Product 330 Plan, Ford China will launch more than 30 new models in the Chinese market in the next three years, covering Ford and Lincoln brands, as well as 10 new energy vehicles. In 2020, Ford / Lincoln will have 10 new cars on the market, including domestic focus travel version, domestic explorer, domestic Lincoln adventurer, domestic Lincoln flier and so on.

Domestic Fox Travel Edition

The new domestic focus currently has a hatchback / hatchback version and Active cross-border version, while the travel version will be listed domestically this year.

The Fox Travel Edition is based on the new Fox with a slimmer body. The new car has a slightly higher body than the regular new focus (pre-30mm, post-34mm) to enhance passability. The new car has also been readjusted for the elevated chassis, and the specifications of springs, shock absorbers, lateral stabilizing rods and front and rear axle bearing housings have been optimized. In the interior part of the car, the new car completely retains the design of the ordinary version of the new focus.

The Fox Travel version will provide 1.5T power, and its 1.5T engine uses a three-cylinder structure with a maximum output of 174 horsepower and a maximum torque of 243N ·m, matched with an eight-speed manual integrated gearbox. The new car will mainly enrich the Fox family after its launch, but its niche market positioning is not bound to provide significant help to sales.

Domestic Ford explorer

Changan Ford explorer declaration map has been in the catalogue of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new car continues the overseas version of the sixth generation of explorers, offering a variety of front face grille options, powered by a 2.3T engine.

From the outside, the new car is consistent with the overseas version, using a new front face shape, the front grille presents a hexagonal, and connected with the headlight group. The side continues the burly shape of Fangzheng, which strengthens the hard style. From the declaration information, domestic explorers offer 8 kinds of front grille designs, including ordinary version, ST-Line version and ST version.

In the body size part, the length, width and height of the new car are 5075*2004/2020*1778mm and the wheelbase is 3025mm, which is larger than the size of SAIC-Volkswagen Tuang. The car is based on Ford's brand-new CD6 rear-drive platform, which is the product of the soon-to-be-made Lincoln flier.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 2.3T turbocharged engine, model CAF488WQGR, with a maximum power of 276hp and is expected to match a 10-speed hand-mounted gearbox and a four-wheel drive system.

Domestic Lincoln adventurer

Changan Lincoln adventurer is the successor to MKC, positioning the compact SUV, currently the official pre-price is 24.80-350000 yuan, and officially went on sale in March. The joint venture between Lincoln and Changan Automobile was formally finalized in March 2017, and the first product of the joint venture company is about to be launched after three years.

From the point of view of appearance, the domestic adventurer Corsair is consistent with the overseas version of the model, equipped with full LED headlight group, daytime driving lights independent of the lower part of the lamp group, the front face is Lincoln family-style design, Xinghui air intake grille, and the net uses a large number of chrome-plated parts for decoration, which is also the symbol element of Lincoln as an American luxury brand.

In the rear part, Lincoln adventurer uses the iconic integrated penetrating LED taillight, which is highlighted by English LOGO, and the word "Changan Lincoln" at the lower left shows his domestic identity. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of domestic Lincoln adventurers are 4615/1887/1630mm, wheelbase 2711mm, larger than the current Lincoln MKC, but also slightly larger than Ford sharp.

From the interior point of view, the overall design of the new car is the same as that of the overseas version, with a large central control touch screen above the center console. In terms of power, the domestic Lincoln adventurer is equipped with a 2.0T engine, a maximum power of 245 horsepower, a peak torque of 390 Nm, an eight-speed manual transmission and a front-drive and four-wheel-drive version. In the future, the car will also offer a plug-in hybrid version.

Domestic Lincoln aviator

Changan Lincoln Flider is the second domestic product of the brand, positioning medium and large SUV, based on the same CD6 rear-drive platform of Ford Explorer.

From the point of view of appearance, the domestic Lincoln flier is consistent with the imported model, maintaining the broad and burly model shape, the front face part uses Lincoln's latest family design, and the headlight group will provide two different internal shapes according to different configurations.

In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5080/2022/1759mm, wheelbase reached 3025mm, positioning medium and large SUV, and the body data of the imported model are exactly the same. In the rear, the new car still continues Lincoln's iconic through taillights, while the lower left side is the "Changan Lincoln" logo, representing the identity of its domestic car.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 3.0T twin-turbocharged V6 engine with a maximum power of 355hp and a peak torque of 553Nm. The transmission system is expected to match the 10AT gearbox and full-time all-wheel drive system, and a plug-in hybrid version will be launched.

The new imported version of Lincoln connoisseur sells for 62.88-818800 yuan in China, and the price will be further reduced after being made in China.
