It is understood that the Model Y is the shortest model in Tesla's history from release to delivery. Tesla launched the Model Y model in March last year, and there are four versions: the standard version, the rear wheel drive long endurance version, the dual motor all wheel drive long endurance version and the dual motor all wheel drive performance version. In January this year, Model Y started production at Tesla's American Fremont factory. In February this year, Model Y obtained CARB certification. By March this year, Tesla had sent an email to users to confirm the delivery time. A year is not very short.

However, although Tesla has sent an email to users indicating the time of delivery, many users are still worried about Tesla's "ticket skipping". Prior to this, there have been varying degrees of "ticket skipping" in Model 3, Model X or Model S.

Tesla Model Y has planned to deliver to users in March this year, so the domestic version of Model Y is not far away? It is not impossible for this kind of conjecture. Tesla's super factory in Shanghai was completed and put into production at the end of last year. At present, the second phase of the Tesla project has already started construction, and the model that will be put into production after completion is the Model Y, which is expected to be put into production early next year. With the improvement of Tesla's supply chain and cash flow, the arrival of the domestic version of Model Y does not seem to be far away.

It is worth noting that the "domestic Tesla" known as the Lai car was settled in Hefei yesterday, and the Lai car will be put into production in the Jianghuai NIO factory. The third mass production model-EC6, the car positioning electric intelligent sedan SUV, equipped with 100kWh battery pack, can achieve 615km NEDC mileage, the car standard Tesla Model Y.

On the one hand, Tesla Model Y starts delivery ahead of schedule, and on the other hand, Lulai EC6 starts mass production.
