Earlier, Tesla said the plant would break ground in the first half of this year and complete construction and start production in July next year. The environmental protection group applied to the Frankfurt-upon-Oder Administrative Court in Germany for Tesla to stop deforestation immediately, and the court rejected the environmental group's application on the 14th of last month. Subsequently, environmental groups submitted a new motion to the Brandenburg High Administrative Court in Berlin, saying that logging had many negative effects on the environment. The Berlin-Brandenburg High Administrative Court said that it agreed to the application of the environmental protection organization to stop logging temporarily, but rejected the application of the environmental protection group a few days later, and Tesla's work of clearing the forest was carried out smoothly.

Tesla's German super factory is located in Glenhead, Brandenburg, a suburb of Berlin. This is Tesla's first super factory in Europe and Tesla's fourth super factory in the world. Tesla plans to invest 4 billion euros (30.3 billion yuan) in a German super factory to produce batteries, power systems and vehicles, starting with Model Y.

According to reports, Tesla plans to eventually achieve the annual production target of 500000 electric vehicles here, and the plant's first batch of electric vehicles will be offline in July 2021.
